MultiVersus confirms that its players could now save their progress in the Warner Bros. free-to-play crossover fighter as it launches its open beta.
Warner Bros. has officially released the open beta of its all-new Smash Bros-like game, known as MultiVersus.
MultiVersus Says Players Could Now Save Their Progress Forever
As per the latest news story from IGN, the players of MultiVersus initially suffer from frequent progress resets, which has been frustrating for most.
But it is changing now that the open beta of the free-to-play fighter game has begun.
Essentially, MultiVersus open beta players would no longer have to settle with regular resets of their progress.
No less than the social and community director of Warner Bros., Nikki Grantham, has confirmed that all of their progress will now be saved.
Grantham announced in the Discord server of MultiVersus that all of the progression to all of the characters that its players have played during the Early Access period, spanning from July 19 to July 25, will now be saved.
The social and community director adds that there will no longer be "worries if you can't unlock all of the characters you played before."
In fact, Grantham says that you can now resume your progress if the character has come to the weekly free rotation, or better yet, "if you unlock 'em."
MultiVersus New Character Rotation
Besides the confirmation that progress will now be saved, Warner Bros. also highlights its new character rotation for the crossover fighter title.
According to a recent report by PC Gamer, Grantham reveals that a select number from the character roster will be available for free to its players for two weeks.
After 14 days, the selection would change to include a new set of MultiVersus characters.
The official Twitter account of the gaming title tweets about it as well, confirming that its set of free characters would rotate every two weeks.
The MultiVersus Twitter also notes that it now saves the progression of its players, staying away from the previous regular resets.
MultiVersus Open Beta
The all-new Warner Bros. free-to-play debuts its open beta on July 26.
And IGN boasts that MultiVersus is off to an impressive start, flaunting more than 144,000 concurrent players right away.
The free fighter gaming title allows players to play with various characters from Warner Bros., such as the DC hero Batman and Arya Stark from the phenomenal Game of Thrones series.
The crossover game also pits iconic characters like Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes and Shaggy of Scooby-Doo.
