BioLite Announces New Products, Including Portable Power Stations

The upgraded off-grid camping, cooking, and portable charging options by BioLite are excellent for running electronics when you're not near a power source or during blackouts.

Biolite Revealed a New Addition to Its Charging Line Up

BioLite's latest power-backup options expand on its off-grid camping, cooking, and pocketable charging innovation. The business unveiled the BaseCharge 600, BaseCharge 1500, and SolarPanel 100.

They arere fantastic for powering entertainment tech, appliances, and workstations while away from an outlet. They're helpful when the power goes off.

Each device has rubber feet and a hard plastic shell. On each side, insets help carry these heavy devices. Given their weight, they're not very rugged. They're ideal for off-grid power backups, but they have no IP certification or weather protection, so keep them dry.

BaseCharge 600

The BaseCharge 600 ($699) is the most economical of the two power stations. It is a high-capacity li-ion power station that may be recharged from the wall, automobile, or sun for energy independence. The Easy Read Smart LCD Dashboard shows real-time runtimes and energy use. The 12 Checkpoint Safety System monitors the unit so you may share power with confidence. Power computers, tablets, phones, cameras, lighting, routers, and more.

BaseCharge 1500

The BaseCharge 1500 ($1,699) is the bigger, heavier, and more potent variant. The same three inputs as the 600 model are present, along with a 1521 Wh Li-ion battery. Charge times vary from 13.5 hours using the wall charger to 8 hours using the wall charger and USB-C PD and 4 hours at the height of the solar eclipse if you have four SolarPanel 100 units. This larger gadget is 14.4 x 12.2 x 8.2 inches in size and weighs 26.5 pounds.

It has 12 outputs:

  • 3 - 110V AC (1,200W up to 2,400W surge)
  • 1 - Wireless charging for Qi and related devices on the top platform (10W)
  • 2 - 12V DC barrel ports (120W)
  • 1 - 12V car port (aka cigarette lighter port - 120W)
  • 2 - USB-A (5V)
  • 2 - USB-C (5V)
  • 1 - USB-C PD (5V / 100W)

SolarPanel 100

The BioLite SolarPanel 100 is a foldable 100 Watt solar panel ready to capture the sun's energy. It can be used to charge devices directly and combined with the BioLite BaseCharge Series (available separately) to create a complete solar generator solution. Take the guesswork out of setup with BioLite's unique Optimal Sun System and make the most of your solar experience.
