Blizzard has announced that there won't be a third beta for Overwatch 2 before the game's release on Oct. 4.
Overwatch 2 Will Only Have Two Betas
Jon Spector, the commercial leader for Overwatch, stated that the team will use the feedback from the game's alpha and two public beta tests to concentrate on releasing the best game on Oct. 4 rather than running another beta, as per the news story of Game Spot.

What Can You Expect During the Game's Release on October
Overwatch 2, which will replace the original Overwatch upon release, will be free-to-play and won't include loot boxes.Instead, it will enable direct cosmetic purchases from players and mark the debut of the battle pass in Blizzard's FPS.
Game Spot noted that players could sign up for a chance to play in Overwatch 2's two beta periods, but it was only for the last few days of the game's most recent beta period when all players who signed up were granted access.
Meanwhile, some sharp-eyed Overwatch 2 players had noticed a mysterious message that appeared in the game's chatbox just before the game's second beta went offline. They believe there might be new characters that will be introduced on the game's launch.
Possible New Characters in Overwatch 2
As previously reported, the message, which appears as V2hhdCBkb2VzIHRoZSBmb3ggc2F5Pw==, is allegedly sent by Blizzard to every player who play-tested Overwatch 2 during its second beta.
One of these players, who goes by the Twitter handle @Hayzelet mentioned that the message was not a bunch of crudely typed set of characters, but rather a Base64-formatted message, making her the first Overwatch 2 player to have noticed it.
The message was then online decoded using a third-party Base64 decoder. After typing the message that Blizzard provided to users, she was then given the message that had been deciphered, "What does the fox say?"
In addition to the Kanezaka fox girl, Game Informer Editor Andrew Reiner claimed that while visiting Blizzard Entertainment in October 2019, he noticed the silhouettes of four unreleased characters.
His observations indicated that three of the four silhouettes were female; however, because of their clothing, it is difficult to determine anything further to substantiate this.
The lone male character, according to Reiner, had a crooked staff resembling that of a wizard, warlock, or voodoo priest, and the only silhouette that caught his eye was a girl with short hair and a huge, four-sided melee weapon in her hand.
Along with the short-haired woman, he also noticed an animal silhouette, but it is unclear what it would be utilized for.
Apart from the silhouettes, Kaplan didn't provide any additional information on the next characters of the game and flatly refused demands to do so.
