iPhone 14 is Expected to Go on Sale by September 16
Apple usually hold a big event such as a product launch during the first part of September. Gurman's report said that the event is like to be streamed online like other events that were held during the pandemic.
There has been a long standing rumor that Apple will announce the iPhone 14 lineup at the product launch. Products that are expected to be unveiled are the base iPhone 14, a new big-screened iPhone 14, an iPhone 14 Pro, and an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Based on previous reports, the Pro models will have more upgrades. Aside from getting the next generation A-series processor, they will also get the always-on display. As per The Verge, the models will "lose the notch in favor of a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout."
Following Apple's practice in the past years, the iPhones unveiled during the launch have gone on sale a week or so after the unveiling.
Based on Gurman's report, Apple store employees have been advised to prepare for "a major new product release" on Sept. 16, as per CNET.
Updates on Apple Watch is also expected to be made at the product launch. A new higher-end rugged model and a revised Apple Watch SE are expected to be launched.
Aside from iPhones and Apple Watch, the company is said to be working on the next generation of the AirPods Pro. The said buds is rumored to have lossless audio support.
Moreover, a new entry-level iPad without a headphone jack is also expected from the events. Apple fans should mark their calendar as Apple might introduce many potential products in the upcoming event.

The Cost of iPhone 14 Models
The launch of iPhone 14 is just around the corner. The next question now is how much would Apple charge for its new flagship. According to predictions from analysts, there might be a price hike of $100, as per a separate report of CNET.
While there is no price changes between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, the said models of iPhones have a lot of similarities.
With the upgrades in iPhone 14, its only reasonable to expect that with flashier upgrades come higher prices. But that remains to be seen as there is a possibility that Apple may retain the price to remain competitive with Android devices.
As of writing, no official statement on the prices iPhone 14 are released yet. In the past years, and Apple is mummed regarding its future products before it announces them.
In 2020 and 2021, Apple kept a similar pricing structure for the iPhone, therefore, there is a possibility that it might do the same in 2022. However, rumors about the iPhone 14 Max make predicting the prices tricky.
If Apple decided to retain the $800 price for the standard iPhone, iPhone 14 Max could be priced at $900. However, according to reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, iPhone 14 Max will cost less than $900.
