And as such, it seems that the Destiny 2 maker, Bungie, is already gearing up to launch its new skin offerings.

Are Fortnite Skins Coming to Destiny 2?

A news story by The Verge reports that a prominent leaker of all sorts of Fortnite stuff, who goes by the name MidaRado, initially suggested that Destiny 2 and the phenomenal battle royale are working on a massive collaboration.

Shortly after the leak teased the huge collab, a well-known data miner of Destiny, known as Ginsor, corroborated the potential crossover between the two free-to-play gaming titles.

But besides that, Ginsor goes on to leak photos of a bunch of Fortnite skins, which are highly likely coming to the online shooter game.

The Verge notes in the same report that the images of the leaked in-game cosmetics appear to be straight from the official website of the Destiny developer, Bungie.

Fortnite x Destiny 2: What We Know So Far

The Fortnite skin photos sure look like it is some sort of promotional content for the crossover, according to a recent report by Games Radar.

The seemingly promotional graphics showcase the three classes on the shooter game, including Warlock, Titan, and Hunter, while donning skins, which first saw the light of day on the free-to-play battle royale.

It gives us a glimpse of how the Black Knight skin -- previously available as a Fornite season pass item -- looks on Titans.

Meanwhile, the Hunter looks like it is donning an Omega skin from Fortnite, whereas Warlock seemingly flaunts a Drift Mask skin.

Apart from the photo showcasing the three classes in their new look, the leak failed to disclose more details about the potential collab.

It is worth noting as well that both Bungie and Epic Games have yet to confirm any collaboration.

But given the leak of the potential crossover, fans of these games might no longer need to patiently wait for long.

However, it would be best to take this news with some grain of salt to avoid any disappointments.

Games Radar adds in its report that the lack of confirmation from the two developers puts the veracity of these latest leaks in question.

On top of that, it is still unclear how Destiny players could get their hands on these new Fortnite cosmetics once it starts to roll out.
