New Apple Leak Suggests an iPhone 14 Mini, Two New iPad Pros are on the Way

While most of the rumors surrounding iPhone 14 say that Apple will not be releasing the iPhone 14 mini and will instead launch the iPhone 14 Max, a new leak suggested otherwise.

TechRadar just reported (via 91mobiles) that a recent leak from Evan Blass, a tipster with strong track records, said that one of Apple's Asian partners will be stocking in iPhone devices, which will include an iPhone 14 mini.

Evan Blass Leaks that a iPhone 14 Mini is on the Way

The launch of iPhone 14 is just around the corner, as reports heavily suggested that Apple will be hosting an event next month. Based on previous years, the event will be held to announce the new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 as WCCFTech.

With this upcoming event, Evan Blass suggested that a distribution partner of Apple is planning to stock the upcoming iPhone 14 models, which will surprisingly include an iPhone 14 mini.

This leak comes as a surprise as in the past, there has been a long-standing rumor circulating that Apple will ditch the iPhone 14 mini, and will favor the bigger iPhone 14 Max.

While the leak sounds sketchy given the previous reports surrounding iPhone 14 flagships, Evan Blass is known for his accurate track record.

In fact, Blass has previously provided leaks about numerous Android smartphones. He was also known for leaking the iPhone 12 and the HomePod mini before it was launched.

In addition to the iPhone 14 mini, Blass also mentioned that Apple will announce a 10.2-inch 10th-gen iPad.

According to WCCFTech, their previous reports on the 10th-gen iPad suggested that it will feature a display size of 10.5-inches instead of 10.2. Additionally, the tablet will reportedly undergo a major redesign, and would come with flat edges.

Blass also hinted that two new iPad Pros, an 11-inch model and a 12.9-inch model, will be announced during the Apple event in September.

Apple Event to be Held on September

Based on WCCFTech report, Apple's iPhone 13 mini have low demand in comparison to the other models of the iPhone 13 lineup. This reason possibly made Apple forgo the smaller iPhone, and instead push the bigger 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max.

According to reports, Apple will potentially announced the new iPad 10 next month. However, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said that Apple's announcement of the new iPad models and Macs will not happen until October.

Based on reports last week, the company will possibly host the Apple event on September 7, which will highlight the unveiling of the iPhone 14.

Users can also expect iOS 16 and watchOS 9 to be released next month. However, reports hinted that users will have to wait until October to see the iPadOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura. Analysts predicted that it will come alongside the new Macs and iPad Pro models.

Despite the leak from Blass, the possibility of seeing an iPhone 14 mini next month seems quite unlikely, according to WCCFtech. As of writing, there are no other reports sharing details that support it.
