We have good and bad news.
The good news is following a four-month hiatus due to shortage of supply, Ford on Thursday resumed taking reservations for the 2023 Mustang Mach-E. Another pleasant information for those who are planning to purchase this car is that Mach-E Premium versions with the Extended Range battery now have an EPA-estimated range of 290 miles, an increase of 13 miles.
But that bad news is that, as the headline says, the cost of the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E has increased.
2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Price
For every vehicle, the required destination fee has increased by $200 to $1,300, according to CNET.
The California Route 1 AWD model has seen the biggest increase, at $8,100. It will cost an additional $8,600, up from $6,000 in the previous model year, if you want your Premium trim with the bigger battery.
In the car manufacturer's press release, as per the news story by Techcrunch, Ford attributes the price increases across the board to substantial material cost increases, ongoing pressure on key supply chains, and quickly evolving market conditions."
The new pricing will go into effect Thursday.

Design
The new Mustang Nite Pony package, which costs an additional $800, is a blackout package that replaces most of the shiny external components with gloss black highlights and wheels. It is also available for Extended-Range Premium and GT Performance Edition variations. The GT and GT Performance versions now come standard with a panoramic fixed-glass top as well, according to CNET.
The publication also mentioned that the previous colors Dark Matter Gray Metallic and Iced Blue Silver Metallic are replaced by two brand-new colors, Carbonized Gray Metallic and Vapor Blue Metallic.
Techcrunch said that as an additional standard safety feature, Ford is now including its Co-Pilot360 Driver Assist Technology. According to Marin Gjaja, chief customer officer for Ford's Model e division, the software will enable consumers to obtain upcoming over-the-air updates for its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The car manufacturer is spending tens of billions of dollars to increase its production capacity globally in order to sell more than 2 million EVs yearly by 2026, as reported by Techcrunch.
