Nokia Lumia 925 and Lumia 625 reaches new destinations

The top-end Nokia Lumia 925 will be soon available in various Latin American countries such as Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

Nokia launched the Lumia 925 in May this year and the handset initially made its way to European markets in June and then reached the U.S. in July. Now the smartphone will be soon available in some select Latin American countries as well.

Windows Phone 8 (WP8) smartphones have slowly, but steadily gained popularity in the smartphone space. The latest Microsoft operating system has attracted many smartphone customers looking for an alternative to Android and iOS.

The WP8 smartphones have been very popular in the Latin American countries and consumers will now see the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 625 arrive soon in the region.

Nokia has consistently launched new WP8 smartphones in the market and the Finnish company has the biggest variety of WP8 handsets on offer in all segments.

With the launch of the high-end Lumia 925 and the entry-to mid-level Lumia 625, Nokia will try to attract a major part of the customers looking to buy a new handset.

The regional Nokia website (Mexican) has the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 625 with the "coming soon" label and users will want to get their hands on the upcoming handsets as soon as possible. The company has not confirmed an official release date for the Lumia 925 and the Lumia 625, but rumors suggest that the smartphones will be available from September onwards.

"You'll be picking up the Lumia 925 first if you find yourself in Mexico, Colombia or Peru. The device is expected to join other countries sometime in September. It also happens that the Nokia Lumia 625 is listed as coming soon alongside the Lumia 925 on Nokia Mexico," reports WPCentral.

The Lumia 925 is the only Lumia device to come in an aluminum chassis and the Lumia 625 with its 4.7-inch display is currently the biggest WP8 smartphone around. The Lumia 625 is available in a variety of colors but we don't know if all the colors will launch in Latin America.

We will now have to wait for the company to officially release the handsets in Latin American countries as soon as possible.
