What T-Mobile Offers

According to The Verge, despite T-Mobile's announcement that more than 9 million homes will be able to gain access to its internet, the service is not going to be consistent everywhere.

T-Mobile issued a warning that the 5G home internet service isn't going to be available everywhere even if your city is part of the list that the company released.

But a 4G LTE service may be available to some users. The company currently charges $50 per month with AutoPay.

Moreover, for families with Magenta MAX, the T-Mobile's phone plan, the company charges $30.

Since its launched in April 2021, a steady growth across the U.S. was recorded in the Home Internet service of T-Mobile.

According to the company, it has more than 1.5 million Home Internet customers. This was reported during its second-quarter earnings call. This makes the company the "fastest growing broadband provider" for the third quarter, as per T-Mobile website.

Currently, even without the aid of SpaceX satellites, the company has "coverage available to over 40 million households," according to The Verge.

T-Mobile Brings 5G Internet to the Northeastern Area

To have a fast, reliable home broadband is an important aspect of people's everyday life. However, according to T-Mobile, this privilege remains to be out of reach for families across the country.

According to the company's website, more than 320,000 households lack high speed internet in Connecticut. This is around 23% of total homes in the state.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, more than 800,000 residents lack fast internet access. In addition, according to a 2021 study of BroadbandNow, there are more than 42 million people across the country "who lack access to broadband."

Given these conditions, T-Mobile decided to expand its 5G home internet to give access to more than nine million homes in the Northeastern area.

"Expanding broadband in my district and throughout the commonwealth has always been a longtime priority of mine. I want to thank T-Mobile for their investment in our area," said Senator Sal DiDomenico, Assistant Majority Leader of the Massachusetts Senate.

According to T-Mobile, the internet service being offered by the company is flat rate, which means there will be no added taxes or monthly fees. Also, there will be no equipment costs, annual contracts, and price hikes, said that the company.

The setup is also simple as it is 100% wireless. Users just simply need to plug it in, then, download the app. Users will be connected in less than 15 minutes without waiting for installation.

T-Mobile's also offers its Un-carrier move, Internet Freedom, which allows customers to test Home Internet worry-free.
