Apple Opens Pre-Order for iPhone 14, Shipping Starts on September 16

Apple announced the iPhone 14 models during its "Far Out" event on Wednesday. Now, the devices are available for pre-order through the Apple Store app, and the Apple Store Online, as per 9to5Mac.

How Can You Pre-order an iPhone 14?

Since Apple already opened the pre-order with the new iPhone 14 models, you can simply visit the Apple Store app or the Apple Store Online to get the latest iPhone 14 models.

As part of its usual practice whenever it is introducing a new product, the Apple Store went offline this morning. This is part of the company's preparation for the upcoming pre-orders. Now, it is back online.

In addition to the Apple Store, different carriers also allow pre-order of the iPhone 14. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are offering some pretty good deals.

You can get the iPhone in four different models, starting with the entry model iPhone 14, the new iPhone 14 Plus, and the high-end models iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

How Much Are the New iPhone 14 Devices?

For an iPhone 14, the starting price for a 128GB unit is $799. Meanwhile, you can get the 128GB iPhone 14 Plus for $899.

The high-end iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 for 128GB, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost you $1099 for the 128GB.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 plus kept the A15 Bionic. TechRadar said that the two devices follow the same design as the iPhone 13.

The main camera of' iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are improved, though. The units sport a new 12MP main camera plus a larger sensor.

The two units also come with a new front-facing camera with autofocus. It has a satellite connectivity, and Crash Detection.

On the other hand, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max have bigger upgrades. An all-new Dynamic Island replaced the notch. The devices are now equipped with new 48MP Main camera, the A16 chip, plus a new Always-On display.

When Will Apple Start Shipping iPhone 14 Pre-orders?

During its "Far Out" event on September 7, Apple announced that the pre-ordered iPhone 14, 14 Pro, and Pro Max devices will be shipped on September 16. The devices will also become available in-store on the said date.

Meanwhile, those who are planning to get the iPhone 14 Plus will have to wait a bit longer, as according to Apple, it will be launched on October 7. Therefore, if you're planning to get this unit, just remember that it'll take some time before it is shipped.

It is highly recommended for you to pre-order the iPhone 14 models if you want to get your hands on the devices as early as possible. You might also want to pre-order early, if you're an Apple products fan.

According to TechRadar, they have witnessed delivery delays in the past despite the big number of handsets available to pre-order, and the plenty of retailers.

However, the news site noted that Apple is typically reliable when it comes to delivering devices to early birds.
