[VIRAL FLASHBACK] A Look Back at How Queen Elizabeth II's Great-Grandson Prince Louis Stole the Show at Her Jubilee

September 8, 2022, is an unforgettable day for the royal family and the people of the UK. It is the day when Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch in British history, passed away.

It's hard to believe that Her Majesty was gone when she just recently celebrated her Platinum Jubilee from February 6 to June 5 this year. The appearances of the Queen during her Jubilee became her last few public appearances.

But aside from the Queen, another highlight of the Jubilee celebration is Prince Louis, who stole the limelight from his great-grandmother. The four-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton is just so adorable in his antics.

Prince Louis' Antics Earned Giggles from the Royal Family

During the Trooping of the Color, the young royal seemed to "lost his little mind."

As the royal family members appeared at the military parade, which is a part of Queen Elizabeth II's birthday and Platinum Jubilee celebration, the boy screamed his head off.

The royal family, including the Queen, were all seen standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the parade, according to LA Times.

The affair was a noisy one as there was also a Royal Air Force flyover involving 70 planes.

Initially, Prince Louis was all okay with it, but suddenly he wasn't. The young royal was "alternately gazing toward the sky and scoping out the action on the ground." Then, he slapped his hands over his ears all of a sudden and screamed.

The elders, including Queen Elizabeth, giggled at Prince Louis' adorable antics, according to LA Times.

In another instance, Kate reportedly has to stop the young royal from "waving to the crowd a little too exuberantly" during their ride in the carriage for the parade.

Prince Louis' Comical Antics Went Viral on Social Media

During the Platinum Jubilee weekend, Prince Louis once again stole the scene with his adorable antics.

The young royal was spotted shushing his mother while being seated in the Royal Box during the Jubilee Pageant. The boy is placing his hand over his mother's mouth.

At another moment, the Duchess of Cambridge seemed to be trying to speak with her son, but Prince Louis covered his eyes.

In addition, he also "held his hand up to his nose." Little Louis is also seen sticking his tongue out at his mother.

Fox News said that there was an instance when the duchess tried to scold the young royal. However, this didn't seem to have any effect on Prince Louis as he continued to make funny faces, much to the amusement of the viewers.

Later on, Prince Louis went to his grandfather, Prince Charles. The little boy sat happily on his lap.

Afterwards the youngest of the Cambridges went to sit between his mother and sister, Princess Charlotte, as he kept on sticking his tongue out. He was also seen dancing along with the pageant performers.

According to Fox News, different family members attempted various means to entertain the young royal during the event. Some pointed out planes and flags to the boy.

But all of their efforts were to no avail as Princes Louis kept on entertaining himself. The comical yet adorable antics of the prince immediately went viral on social media.
