A lot of people are looking forward to see the next virtual reality (VR) headset of Meta, the rumored Quest Pro. The new VR headset is set to launch next month.
But surprisingly, we have an advanced viewing of Quest Pro as a leaked video of the VR headset surfaced on the internet.
The leaked video and images on Facebook were shared by Ramiro Cardenas, who claimed that he found the device labeled as "engineering samples" in a hotel room.
'Engineering Sample' of Quest Pro Found in Hotel Room
According to The Verge, the device in the images and videos posted by Cardenas has similarities with the Project Cambria headset. Since late last year, Meta has been posting hints about it.
In the video, Cardenas can be seen removing the device from its packaging. A black headset, and controller would be shown.
You will find three cameras on the front of the headset. Meanwhile, according to The Verge, the controllers "feature a design that drops the hollowed-out loop design that houses the sensors for something more solid."
On the top-left corner of the packaging, the "Meta Quest Pro" label is stamped. You will also see a graphic of the VR headset and controllers printed on the packaging.
There's also a label stuck to the box of the VR headset, which says "Not for resale - engineering sample." According to The Verge, Cardenas told them that the headset was already claimed by the person who previously stayed in the room.
The images and video of the VR headset leaked one month prior to Meta's Connect event. Meta's event will be on October 11. It is when Mark Zuckerberg would likely reveal the company's next VR headset.

The images of VR headset were originally shared by Cardenas in the "comment section of a post on the Oculus Quest 2 Facebook group."
The incident isn't exactly unique as it already previously happened in iPhone 4, when the prototype of the said phone was left in a bar in 2010.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that just recently, the "still-unreleased Pixel 7" was sold on eBay.
Zuckerberg offered "higher-end virtual reality experience" with the Quest Pro. The VR headset is said to include additional sensors, eye tracking, face tracking and more.
According to iTechPost, compared to the greyscale passthrough cameras of Quest 2, Quest will be more advanced with its full-color, more realistic passthrough capability.
Zuckerberg said that it is going to be an amazing device for gaming, but it can be used beyond gaming.
According to a report by iTechPost, Meta follows an "ambitious VR hardware roadmap." The Project Cambria headset, rumored to be called Quest Pro is one of its ambitious projects.
According to Engadget, Bloomberg reported that "Meta Quest Pro" was seen in Meta code. This could only mean that the rumor about the VR reality headset's name could be true.
In July, reports hinted that Quest Pro will cost around than $1,000 to $1,500.
