Riot Games Disclosed VCT 2023 Details
As the League of Legends championship tournament is fast approaching, Riot Games has finally provided details for its Valorant Championship Tour 2023. In a report published by One ESports, the game will only allow selected partner teams to compete in any of the three new international leagues in next year's season.
Matches will be held in Berlin, Seoul, and Los Angeles. The article also mentions that there would be weekly LAN competitions in the Americas, the Pacific, and EMEA for the launchpad for the game's first professional division.
The tournament's most dominant teams from the first round, which will take place in March, will be considered for invitations to the Masters' Tournament in 2023. Additionally, to ensure that teams have ample time to construct their hubs, the 2023 season will only have one split, likely during the February international competition.
This sort of method, borrowed from the concept of League of Legends, will provide the team the opportunity to square off against international competitors even while the regular season is still going on. In League of Legends, a certain number of teams from each league play against one another to earn a spot in the yearly international event.
