Traditionally, Xiaomi releases a mid-range T-variant of its phone after it released its flagship. Now that Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro are launched into the market, phone buyers are expecting that the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro will be released soon.
According to 91Mobiles, it is rumored that the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro will be released sometime in October. While Xiaomi has been mummed on 12T smartphone, leaks of its specs and renders have surfaced online.

The detailed specifications of Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro were released by WinFuture, a German website and a reliable tipster according to TechRadar. The report comes with the marketing images of the two devices.
According to 91Mobiles, the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro will be the "toned-down flagships" from the cellphone brand.
Quite different from the flagship version that has metal frames, the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro will use plastic frames.
Reports from TechRadar and Android Authority said that both phones are going have 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. Both will sport 2712 x 1220-pixel resolution, plus a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro will both have 5,000mAh battery capacity with support for 120W fast charging. Both will also have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the reports said.

Xiaomi 12T Pro - The Premium Choice
From the name itself, Xiaomi 12T Pro, the pro model offers more premium features.
According to Android Authority, under the hood is the high-end Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. This should be able to handle almost anything you want it to do.
While there are reports that an 8GB RAM of the Xiaomi 12T Pro will be available in some markets, report from Android Authority and TechRadar said that the unit will get 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
When it comes to camera, the device is said to have a triple rear camera. It will be equipped with a 200MP main camera (f/1.69). It will also have with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle rear camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
According to 91Mobiles, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will have a 20-megapixel front camera. Meanwhile, it is not identified yet whether the Xiaomi phone will have optical image stabilization (OIS).
According to Android Authority, the price of this "premium" phone is set at €849 or $846.
Xiaomi 12T - The Standard Option
The Xiaomi 12 differs from the Xiaomi 12T Pro in two aspects. While the Xiaomi 12T Pro is powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, the Xiaomi 12T is equipped with an upper mid-range Mediatek Dimensity 8100 series processor.
While they are not on the same level, the Mediatek Dimensity 8100 series processor still makes the Xiaomi 12T a decent device. According to Android Authority, "you can still expect flagship-level performance" from the unit.
They also differ when comes to camera. The Xiaomi 12T's main camera is only 108MP main (f/1.65). However, the 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle rear camera, 2-megapixel macro lens, and 20-megapixel front camera of the Xiaomi 12T Pro are also present in the 12T.
According to Android Authority, the price of this "standard" 12T phone is set at €649 or $646. It will be available in 8GB of RAM, and 128GB, or 256GB of storage.
