As part of the ongoing lawsuit between Twitter and Elon Musk, the private exchange of messages between Musk, former CEO Jack Dorsey, and current CEO Parag Agrawal has been made public, according to Engadget.
The exchange of messages gives people an idea of Musk's mindset during the time that he was trying to acquire Twitter.
Message Exchange Shows Valuable Insights Behind Musk's Mindset
The recently released messages show how SpaceX CEO's relationship with the current Twitter CEO rapidly collapsed just months before the social media company filed a lawsuit against Musk for backing away from his bid to buy the company.
It also provides valuable insight behind Musk's mindset as he attempted to buy Twitter. The text messages show that he was in constant communication with powerful industry players.
Dorsey, in one exchange of messages, said that he had tried to convince the board of Twitter to bring in Musk a year prior. With that, Dorsey told Musk that Twitter "should have never been a company," as per The Verge.
Meanwhile, in an exchange between Musk and Agrawal, the billionaire told Twitter's CEO that rather than joining the board, he wanted to buy out Twitter and take it private.
Agrawal confronts Musk about a tweet saying, "Twitter is dying." He wrote: "You are free to tweet "is Twitter dying?" or anything else about Twitter - but it's my responsibility to tell you that it's not helping me make Twitter better in the current context."
Less than a minute after Agrawal sent the message, Musk responded, asking him what he had accomplished in the week. The billionaire also told him that he is not joining the board and will instead make an offer to take Twitter private.

Dorsey Has Allegedly Wanted Musk to Take an Active Role in Twitter
When news that Musk had acquired a nine percent share in Twitter was released, Dorsey expressed that he was happy with the SpaceX CEO's action.
Weeks later, the exchange of texts shows that Dorsey attempted to start a conversation between Musk and Agrawal. The move was made to address Musk's concerns and make a resolution about the company's future.
A message from Dorsey seemed to be conclusive that Musk and Agrawal can't seem to work out their differences, and the two can't work together.
The exchange of text also illustrates the kind of relationship Dorsey and Musk have. Publicly, Dorsey announced that "Elon is the singular solution I trust."
It seems that Dorsey has been pushing Musk to have an active role at Twitter for quite some time.
Even before the billionaire obtained a nine percent share in the social media company, Dorsey had been telling Musk that he wanted him to be part of Twitter's board of directors.
However, as previously mentioned, Musk has lost interest in joining Twitter's board and instead decided to take it private.
Following that, he made an offer to buy the social media platform for $44 billion. He eventually put the deal on hold because of his questions about the actual number of spam accounts.
Eventually, Musk decided to back out of the deal. To enforce the deal, Twitter filed a lawsuit to sue the billionaire for not keeping his end of the agreement.
