Snapchat, Strava Come Out With New AR Lens to Share Sweaty Workout Easier And Stylish

Snapchat and Strava rolled out a new AR lens for users who want a new experience on sweaty workouts and in style on Snapchat.

The newly released AR feature allows users to post a story or a Snap showing the details of the sweaty activity.

A slew of new features was included, such as a moving map of early morning runs, the total time you spent outdoors, and the elevation.

Easy Simple Steps

It will not require you some learning about rocket science to get going. All you have to do is connect your Snapchat account to your Strava profile so you can

have access to numbers/ stats and activity maps from your past workouts. Each workout will be loaded automatically into your Snapchat profile.

If you want to share your activity from Strava to Snap, swipe the screen to look for your Strava profile. Then, choose "Activities" and find the workout you are planning to

share. Activities suitable for sharing with others should be visible to either "Everyone" or "Followers only" on Strava that goes with it a visible map.

Conversely, while on Snapchat, look for Strava Lens under Len's Explorer. It can also be found in the public profile. The latest workout will appear. Or you may toggle to different workouts and pick the one you want to share. Then create a Story or Snap.

The link to your story or snap will let your family and friends know more through Strava.

Intuitive

Everything is intuitive. It is easy to use the app even if you are not a habitue of the American fitness tracking platform and Snapchat.

And if you feel lazy at the moment that taking a photo or video sounds like a burden to you, upload an old video. You can even post to Snapchat from Strava by simply navigating the tab for activities and using the share function.

Crossposting a Snap to Instagram is not a crime. Users can do that easily. You have to make a video or a photo, use Snapchat to edit it, then save and post it anywhere you want.

Memories

The users can also choose the option "Memories" to have access to the photos from their workout and share slideshows from their cameras.

To record video hands-free, the users have to press and swipe the capture button to the left. Users can add an audio narration while going over the photos.

Available on iOS And Android

The new collaboration between Snapchat and Strava, the American internet service tracking physical exercise, is useful for users who love to sweat it out and share it on social media.

Also, many physical fitness influencers may find this new AR lens useful to promote their brands.

The new AR Lens is available to Snapchat and Strava users on either iOS or Android.

A day before launching the new AR lens, Snapchat announced its partnership with Amazon. The new partnership will make the eyewear brands be made available for a digital try-on.
