Apple recently revealed it would soon be moving its store in Pacific Centre to a new two-story outdoor store located outside the shopping mall.

Apple New Pacific Centre Store Details

Apple mentioned on its official website that its Pacific Centre store would be moving outside the shopping mall, saying, "We're moving outside. Come with us."

This message, which replaced the store's picture on Apple's official website, can be seen as an invitation to the people visiting the store to visit Apple's upcoming two-story store outside the Pacific Centre shopping mall in Vancouver, Canada.

This new store, which will replace the one within Pacific Centre's interior, is reportedly positioned diagonally and located on the corner of West Georgia and Howe Streets, facing the Vancouver Art Gallery. According to the building's 2019 development permit application, this store has a floor area of around 14,000 square feet, per Apple Insider.

This will be Apple's third street-facing store in Canada, with Apple Saint-Catherine and Apple DIX30 in the Montreal areas being the first and second.

Additionally, to celebrate the store's grand opening, Apple had its glass facade wrapped in a 30-foot-tall mural created by Canadian designer Mo Bofill with the help of Musqueam First Nation weaver and artist Debra Sparrow.

This artwork won't be staying in Apple's new store, however, as the company implied it will be removed at an unspecified date.

To celebrate the store's grand opening, Apple will feature Sessions that come with a guided meditation with JoAnna Hardy, a live performance from local lapper Boslen, and two separate art labs with Mia Ohki and Tierney Milne.

Apple also mentioned that a Photo Lab from Alia Youssef will also be among the opening day's activities, along with a performance from choreographer Chloe Arnold of "Spirited" fame.

People can also expect a Q&A moderated by Apple Music radio host George Stromboloupoulos and a Photo Tour of Vancouver's Cityscapes to be among the activities people can expect during the store's grand opening celebrations.

The Photo Tour involves learning to take pictures of cityscapes to get the best shot possible, such as creating perspective, highlighting interesting building details, and setting the composition using an iPhone camera.

Speaking of the store's grand opening, the previously mentioned activities are free for all to attend during its grand opening weekend. However, people interested to join in the fun are required to register through Apple's web page to attend.

Apple and Daily Hive mentioned that the former's street-facing store in Vancouver, Canada will have its grand opening on Nov. 18, with the corresponding celebration scheduled to take place from Nov. 18 to Nov. 20.
