1. Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition Basic Facts
Released on August 18, 2020, Spiritfarer is a management game developed and published by Thunder Lotus Games. You take on the role of Stella, who is a Spiritfarer. A Spiritfarer is ferrymaster to the list who ferries the deceased to the afterlife.
You will have to build the boat that you will use to ferry the deceased. You will also have to harvest, fish, cook, and even farm and mine as you journey.
2. There is Co-Operative Play Available
If you would rather do co-operative play than solo play, it is possible in this game. Stella does have a companion named Daffodil the cat. The friend who will play with you via local co-op will take on the role of Daffodil.
It should be noted that Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition supports Remote Play Together, according to the game's Steam page.
3. Build Friendships with the Deceased
As you take on passengers to ferry to the afterlife, you will end up making memories with them, learning their stories, and taking good care of them while they are on the boat.
However, you will eventually have to say farewell to your new friends once it is time for them to cross to the afterlife.
4. It Has 'Overwhelmingly Positive' Reviews on Steam
As of press time, it has more than 21,000 reviews on Steam and these reviews are classified by the platform as Overwhelmingly Positive. A Steam user named Max says in a review that Spiritfarer is a "Great game. Great emotions. Good stories."
"This game is a lot of things, but at the heart of it, this game is about loving and losing and the process of moving on," another Steam user, NotAbsolutelySure, says in a separate review.

According to the game's official website, Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition features an expanded world that you as Stella can explore. You can also expect to meet four new spirit friends during your journey.
