After going through a lot of controversies, Twitter's blue check subscription service is finally relaunching on November 29 according to Elon Musk.
Engadget writes that the new date was decided on after the company paused the roll out of Twitter's new verification to a surge of trolls and scammers taking over the platform.
The Billionaire Wanted To Make Sure That Twitter Blue Is 'Rock Solid'
The initial unveiling of the $8 a month Twitter verification was met with criticisms and issues that it had to be pulled from the platform just a few days later.
The verification subscription plan that the billionaire wanted to implement led to a number of companies stopping their support for advertisements on Twitter.
This included General Motors, General Mills, Audi, and Volkswagen among several others like the world's largest advertising company Omnicom Media Group, The Verge reports.
Because of this, the billionaire aims to relaunch Twitter Blue, but he is pushing the release date back to November 29 to make sure that it will not encounter any problems again.
According to Engadget, Musk and his company have not specified what changes users can expect with the verification subscription's relaunch.
However, the CEO did say that they have brought back the "official" label or verified accounts, adding that verified users will not be able to change their display names without losing their badges.
Furthermore, Twitter's new owner also proposed that other companies be allowed to identify which accounts are associated with them as part of the verification revamp.
The chaotic roll outs based on Musk's ever-changing decisions caused shifts in the company like the departure of multiple executives along with 50% of its staff.
Because of this, the CEO has recently told Twitter's employees that bankruptcy might be possible for the company due to the economic challenges in the industry, The Wall Street Journal says.

Here's What Twitter's Verification Subscription Entails
Musk's verification subscription to Twitter blue means that users who purchased it for a monthly payment of $8 will get a blue checkmark badge.
Twitter Blue users will be priorities in the replies, mentions, and searches, will get to post longer videos and audios, and will experience Twitter with fewer ads.
However, while the self-proclaimed free speech absolutist introduced the verification subscription to be a beacon of free speech on the platform, it comes with a few cons.
A few days ago, Musk announced that comedy is now allegedly free on Twitter upon his acquisition of the company, but a mass suspension of parody accounts of him happened shortly after.
According to Gadgets Now, this is to prevent users from getting confused with which accounts are real or and which are only impersonations.
In connection, verified users will not be allowed to change their usernames unless it is confirmed that they have met the terms of services of the platform.
As for users who have been verified for their influence before the billion took over, Gadget Now says that they should also be ready to pay the $8 a month fee to keep their verification badges.
