Video games aren't perfect, but that doesn't mean players can't make the most out of the mistakes they are given.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II players have discovered a couple of glitches that are too hilarious not to do, but can be exploited to give an unfair advantage when abused.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II players have encountered a variety of problems with the game since it launched on Oct. 28, 2022, per the Call of Duty official website.
Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II Glitches
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II players are nothing if not creative. According to PC Gamer's article, the game's players have developed the now-infamous "G Walk," which is described as "a frustrating and nightmarish movement technique."
The glitch, which was originally spotted by Jake Lucky on Twitter, has players look like a speeding chimpanzee that is hard to target with the game's reticle and its many sights and scopes.
According to Lucky, the glitch requires players to alternate between going prone and standing up, making them appear like said speeding chimpanzee as the glitch skips over the animation in between the positions.
The speeding bit isn't a lie, either. Based on Lucky's video, players can traverse a significant amount of distance in a short period despite looking like a four-legged primate from hell. The speed created by the glitch allows players to be practically difficult to target.

Although the glitch is hilarious and even nightmarish to witness and recreate, it is also exploitable, removing any fun for most of the players in a match besides the perpetrator.
Another glitch that Modern Warfare II players found is the "Superman trick," which was originally found in the 2014 Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, per Eurogamer.
The Superman trick allows players to move at speeds as if they were free-falling when they are much closer to the ground in actuality. This glitch means players are going faster than they are supposed to be thanks to the glitch, just like with the G Walk.
However, unlike the G Walk, the Superman trick allows players to either go fast or go up with speeds that are only possible for metahumans.
Activision's Woes
Activision, unsurprisingly, won't be happy with these exploitable glitches and will probably patch them out soon. Regardless, however, they are symptoms of the game's troubled launch.
Comicbook Gaming reported that the game was hit with server problems at launch, with players saying they couldn't log into the game, though this could be due to the game's popularity rather than a server problem caused by a DDOS attack.
Aside from server problems, the game could mess with players with other issues, including loss of in-game audio, the inability to open the menu, and the helicopter leaving the map for no good reason, per Windows Central.
Activision has fixed some of these issues, per Win.gg, but some issues remain.
