Newegg is now offering the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 Active for $539.99. The smartphone is packing a 5-inch 1080p display, 1.9GHz quad-core processor, 8-megapixel camera, and more.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 Active, its first water- and dust-resistant smartphone, in June this year as an exclusive for AT&T. The handset is designed to be a more rugged and durable Galaxy S4 variant. Like the Galaxy S4, the S4 Active features a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 full HD display and a quad-core processor, but its claim to fame is that it is IP67-certified water- and dust-resistant. The smartphone is water-resistant up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, so you can rest assured if you accidentally drop it into water or spill liquid on it - the S4 Active is tough enough to not let your accident put it out of commission.
If you prefer to buy your smartphones unlocked, without having to sign a 2-year contract with AT&T, Newegg is selling the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 Active for $539.99.
