1. 'Falling for Christmas'

"Falling for Christmas: is a 2022 film directed by Janeen Damian and written by Jeff Bonnett and Ron Oliver. Lindsay Lohan, Chord Overstreet, George Young, Jack Wagner, and Olivia Perez star in the film.

According to Best Movies Right Now, the story follows Sierra Belmont, played by Lohan, a spoiled heiress who got amnesia due to a skiing accident. She eventually finds herself in the care of a lodge owner widower and his daughter.

The film was first announced in May 2021. In early November 2021, it began filming in Utah. Netflix released it on November 10, 2022. While the critics found the film formulaic, they praised Lohan's acting return and on-screen presence.

2. 'Too Close for Christmas'

"Too Close for Christmas" is a 2020 film directed by Ernie Barbarash. The film's screenplay was written by Nicole Baxter, and it stars Chad Michael Murray, Jessica Lowndes, and Vanessa Sears.

According to My Lifetime, the story follows Hayley, who agreed to spend Christmas with her sister's new in-laws. However, her perfect holiday takes a turn when Paul, Hayley's brother-in-law's brother, unexpectedly shows up. She's harboring a grudge against Paul for ending her last relationship.

"Christmas With You" is a 2022 film directed by Gabriela Tagliavini and written by Paco Farias, Jennifer Stetson, and German Michael Torres. Aimee Garcia, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Deja Monique Cruz star in the film.

The film follows the story of a pop star who's got career burnout. She decided to escape to a small town where she finds inspiration. Along the journey, she also gets a shot of love.

4. 'Holidate'

"Holidate" is a 2020 film. It was directed by John Whitesell, with the screenplay by Tiffany Paulsen. It stars Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, and Kristin Chenoweth.

It follows the story of Sloane Benson, a young woman who doesn't like the holidays because of the judgment that she receives from family members for not having a date. Her mother is constantly trying to set her up with a new man, much to her annoyance.

She met a stranger, Jackson, whose date just left him. The two decided to be each other's platonic plus one all year long, only to catch up feelings for each other eventually.

5. 'A Castle for Christmas'

"A Castle for Christmas" is a 2021 film directed by Mary Lambert. It was written by Ally Carter and Kim Beyer-Johnson. Brooke Shields, Cary Elwes, and Lee Ross star in the film.

The film follows the story of a best-selling American author, Sophie Brown. She decided to travel to Scotland to escape the scandal of her last book. Sophie visits the ancestral village of her father and she ends up falling in love with the castle, Dun Dunbar. However, she must also deal with the ill-tempered duke who owns it.
