A brand-new iPad mini is being developed by Apple and is scheduled to be on sale around the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.
The next iPad mini's processor will be its primary selling feature, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who disclosed the information on the microblogging service Twitter.
Apple Is Unlikely To Replace The iPad Mini With A Foldable iPad
Kuo did not provide any additional information regarding the next iPad mini, but he did state that it is doubtful that Apple will switch to a foldable iPad before 2025, at the very least.
Additionally, the analyst claims that he thinks the cost of a foldable iPad would be far more than that of an iPad mini, as per Mac Rumors.
It is important to note that the newest iPad mini has an 8.3-inch display, an A15 Bionic CPU, and was released in September 2021.
In addition, it was announced with a USB-C connector, Touch ID power button, 5G compatibility for cellular models, and more, with prices starting at $499 in the US for 64GB of storage.
Aside from the fact that the tenth generation iPad is more expensive than the ninth generation iPad, Apple has a history of attempting to replace one iPad with a similarly priced alternative.
Having said that, a folding iPad that unfolds to match the 8.5-inch screen of the iPad mini seems like a fantastic idea, but not at any cost.
Apple, for instance, seldom launches new phone or tablet designs and only uses them in a single iteration, Forbes writes.
Therefore, it was always most likely that there would be more than one version of the new-style iPad mini with an all-screen front and a Touch ID button positioned on the side.
Whatever the situation may be, users will have to wait longer for a folding iPad if Kuo is correct, which is typically the case.
With that said, it is important to note that the most recent mini has a significant amount of beauty and does a great job of fulfilling the need for a more portable tablet.

Kuo Explains Why The Foldable iPad Can Not Replace The iPad Mini
Back in April, Kuo stated that the 2024 release date for Apple's first foldable was formerly thought to be feasible, but that it is now obvious this projection needs to be changed.
According to 9to5 Mac, he changed that to the earliest possible date of 2025 for a foldable iPad or a combination iPhone/iPad.
To be clear, today's forecast does not claim that Apple will miss the potential 2025 launch of a foldable device.
Rather, it claims that the iPad mini won't be replaced by the first foldable device since its price will be much more than an iPad mini.
The iPad mini 7's availability, according to Kuo, "is projected to start by the end of 2023 or in 1H24," which indicates it might miss a fall launch and the 2023 holiday shopping season.
The new iPad 10 has the same design as the iPad mini but has a larger screen and is more reasonably priced, which puts the iPad mini in a tougher position than ever.
According to the Apple analyst, a new CPU will be the primary improvement, but further information is not yet known as of writing, 9to5 Mac reports.
