5 Netflix Cooking Competitions with Unique Concepts Unlike What You Normally Watch

Cooking shows have been a favorite source of entertainment for countless people for many years now. From "Hell's Kitchen" to "Iron Chef" and everything in between, audiences have been delighted not just by the mouthwatering food served on these shows, but also the colorful personalities we see on screen.

It's no surprise then that cooking shows are aplently on Netflix and some of them have pretty unique and interesting concepts that are not seen in previous cooking shows.

'Best Leftovers Ever!'

As its name suggests, "Best Leftovers Ever!" is a cooking competition where leftovers take the center stage. Contestants are asked to turn leftover and takeout food into something different and delicious. Depending on the episode, contestants have to turn leftover food into comfort food fare, brunch food, and fancy dishes.

As of press time, "Best Leftovers Ever!" has one season consisting of eight episodes. You can watch "Best Leftovers Ever!" on Netflix.

'Cook at All Costs'

Hosted by celebrity chef Jordan Andino, "Cook at All Costs" pit contestants against each other in two rounds of competition. In every round, each player must bid for ingredients using the $25,000 they have in their banks. Whoever wins at the end of the two rounds gets to bring home all the money left in his or her bank.

"Cook at All Costs" has one season as of writing and it has a total of eight episodes. You can watch "Cook at All Costs" on Netflix.

'Crazy Delicious'

If British cooking competitions are more up your alley, then make sure to check out "Crazy Delicious." This show is all about reinventing and the contestants are asked to put their creative, even outrageous spins on burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and even a full-blown picnic.

"Crazy Delicious" has one season as of writing consisting of six episodes. You can watch "Crazy Delicious" on Netflix.

'The Final Table'

Many cooking competitions feature home cooks as the contestants. Such is not the case for "The Final Table," which features chefs from around the world. These chefs compete in teams of two to create dishes based on the chosen cuisine for the episode. Each episode has two rounds and the three teams with the least impressive dishes moves on to the second round, where a renowned chef gives them an ingredient to highlight and gets to eliminate one or two teams.

'Snack vs. Chef'

If you happen to really love snacks, then this a cooking competition you shouldn't miss. Contestants are asked to replicate snack foods such as KitKat, Oreo, and Lay's. After the first round, they are then asked create a new snack based on the designated theme.
