Preview versions of Apple Music and Apple TV apps for Windows were spotted in Microsoft Store, according to MacRumors.
In addition, an Apple Devices app for managing devices such as iPhones, iPads, and iPods from Windows devices has also appeared.
What the Preview of Apple Music and Apple TV Look Like
Microsoft announced last October that the apps were coming to the platform by 2023 for installation on Windows devices.
With this, users can finally replace the old iTunes app and Apples TV web player with native software that will offer an experience closer to the one embedded in macOS.
Apple Music and Apple TV apps have been built with more modern technologies. This means the apps run faster and use fewer resources than iTunes.
According to 9to5Mac, both Apple Music and Apple TV apps look somewhat similar to the versions that already exist on macOS. However, the interface has been slightly tweaked to match Windows.
The Apple TV app works in the same manner as the app available for other platforms like Xbox and Smart TVs.
Users will be able to watch content from the Apple TV app, including the Apple TV+ and Apple TV Channels as well as movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store.
Users will be able to stream content in 4K HDR when available and if the device supports such technologies.
Meanwhile, the Apple Music app has almost all the same features which are available in the macOS version, except for the lyrics.
Users will be able to access their library through Apple Music or also from the iTunes Store. In addition, content from iTunes will be automatically moved to the new app.
Users will notice that iTunes for Windows stops working once Apple Music or Apple TV apps are installed.
A message will appear giving a warning that a new version of iTunes will be released in the future in order to continuously support audiobooks and podcasts.
According to 9to5Mac, this is because the Apple Music app lacks these features. Also, the Apple Podcasts app is still exclusive to Apple devices.

Apple Notes That Not All Features of the App May Work as Expected
Apple notified users that since these are only preview versions of these apps, "not all features may work as expected."
Similarly, the company also issued a warning that other content types such as audiobooks and podcasts will be inaccessible until Apple releases a compatible version of iTunes.
To access other content such as audiobooks and podcasts, the user has the option to uninstall the preview apps.
According to MacRumors, users need Windows 11 version 22621.0 or higher in order to install all three of the new Apple apps. A dark mode is available for all of the new apps as well.
iTunes is still used in Windows in order to sync and restore iOS devices and even old iPods. Now that Apple introduces Apple Devices, users will be able to back up their devices and sync local media. Likewise, they will be able to restore firmware without having to use iTunes.
The preview of the three new apps in the Microsoft Store suggests that Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices for Windows 11 will be made available to the public soon.
