Sprint has announced that it will start selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch tablet for $49.99 on Oct. 11.
The carrier is adding a new 4G LTE tablet to its mobile lineup. Sprint will be bringing the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 to its network just in time for the holidays and will be selling the device at a very attractive price point of $49.99.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 features a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung TouchWiz Nature UX. It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1.5GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly. The tablet includes 16GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64GB microSD cards.
Its camera capabilities include a 3-megapixel rear camera with video capture and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video chat. It has a built-in 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Its dimensions are 4.37 inches x 7.4 inches x 0.39 inches (111.1mm x 188mm x 9.9mm) and weighs 10.9 ounces. The tablet ships with a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery.
Sprint will start selling the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch in its online and retail stores on Oct. 11 for $49.99. You will need to sign a new 2-year contract with the carrier to get that price.
