Samsung will soon introduce a new generation of its premium Galaxy S smartphones, and leaks have revealed a lot already ahead of the February 1 event.
Despite these leaks, the Samsung Unpacked 2023 still remains one of the most important tech events of the year, according to GSM Arena.
What Is Likely To Be Expected In Unpacked
This will be the first live Samsung Unpacked event since the pandemic and will take place in San Francisco, California.
Customers may anticipate seeing Samsung's newest smartphone series, the Galaxy S23 phones, during Samsung Unpacked.
Users should also look forward to the phones being referred to as the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra based on Samsung's past announcement patterns.
It appears that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have all the eye-catching features, and long-running speculations have suggested that the most expensive S23 model will contain a 200-megapixel main camera.
A built-in S Pen, a 6.8-inch ultra-high-definition display, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W charging, and a four-camera configuration on the rear will all remain features of the Ultra.
The design of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be similar to that of its predecessor, but it will be offered in some new hues, including Botanic Green and Cotton Flower (a light yellow) (a different shade of green than last year).
According to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Samsung will employ the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead of its own Exynos CPUs for the whole S23 family, which is likely to comprise the S23, S23+, and Ultra.
The new chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, a faster version of the SD 8 Gen 2, is one of the major modifications.
This might be advantageous because Galaxy phones with Exynos processors are known for having poor performance and battery life, Engadget writes.
As soon as the Samsung Unpacked event begins on February 1 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET, users can watch the live stream on Samsung's YouTube page or website.

The base model of the new phone is 8/256GB, whereas the base model of the previous one started at 8/128GB. The base Galaxy S23 Ultra will cost €150 more than the base Galaxy S22 Ultra.
In addition to the phones, we anticipate Samsung to introduce the Galaxy Book 3 Super, a new ultra laptop, Engadget details.
The premium Galaxy Book range, according to Samsung Display, would include OLED screens with integrated touch, just like smartphones.
In addition to Super AMOLED touchscreen displays with a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels (16:10), backlit keyboards, Intel 13th-generation processors with two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, all three versions will offer these features.
