Prior to the headset's debut on February 22, Sony published a comprehensive FAQ on the PlayStation VR2 on the PlayStation Blog.
With that, Digital Trends writes that over 100 PS VR2 titles are now in development, and Sony has no immediate plans to provide its games physical releases.
The FAQs Reveal Some Details About Sony's Plan For PS VR2's Future
The FAQ is primarily full of fundamental details on the PlayStation VR2's specifications, how to set it up, and what is necessary to utilize it.
However, the Games part of the recent FAQ provides a wealth of insightful information on the system's future.
It reaffirms that there would be about 30 launch games for the system, but it also shows how many games are being developed for the headgear.
Other details that users have constantly pondered are also revealed on the PlayStation Blog page, according to The Gamer.
However, what makes Sony's new VR headset stand out is the fact that a century's worth of games are being created for it.
It is important to note that five years after its debut in 2016, the original PS VR has more than 500 games available by 2021.
With the PS VR2, Sony will undoubtedly try to outperform that figure, and things are looking good thus far.
That is encouraging because a new, pricey VR headset like this one depends on its game selection to survive.
However, there is currently no information indicating if these 100 games will contain any first-party games or if they will all be produced by third parties.

The Release Of Sony's VR Gadgets Might Be Facing Challenges
As technology and the variety of VR headsets available have improved in recent years, virtual reality gaming has progressively gained in popularity.
However, the majority of headsets require specialized and expensive PC settings to run such games, which makes it an expensive endeavor.
According to Nation World, the PS VR2 is intended to be a reasonably affordable, simple-to-operate VR headset compatible with the PlayStation 5 system.
Sony appears committed to building its VR environment, but there are a number of obstacles to overcome.
For instance, a recent report stated that the console giant had reduced its PS VR2 production by approximately 50% as a result of weak demand and pre-orders.
This report was refuted by Sony, who stated that it was "seeing enthusiasm from PlayStation fans for the upcoming launch."
Additionally, despite selling five million devices by 2020, it only has a small market share of less than 1% in the VR sector.
However, according to The Gamer, it will be difficult for Sony to overtake Meta Quest, which now holds an 85% share of the market.
Despite these difficulties, the finger and eye tracking features of the PS VR2 appear incredibly interesting and are something to look forward to.
However, since it lacks backwards compatibility and was created with the PS5 in mind, users will need one to play it.
