Humble Bundle Offers $30 Bundle to Raise Relief Funding for Turkey and Syria

Turkey and Syria have been hit by a devastating magnitude 5.6 aftershock recently, and people are coming together to help the victims. Humble Bundle is pitching in on the world's relief efforts by offering a bundle for $30 dedicated entirely to the cause.

Humble Bundle's Offer

The Türkiye-Syria Earthquake Relief bundle will contain more than $1000 worth of PC Games, books, and comics, totaling more than 70 items. 100% of the proceeds will be given to the nonprofits Direct Relief, International Medical Corps, and Save the Children.

Hundreds of thousands of people in the affected area need medical supplies, food, water, and shelter, as mentioned in The Verge, which motivated Humble Bundle to "join forces with game makers and book publishers" to put together the bundle

Some of the games included in the bundle are Gotham Knights, the 2022 Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, as well as Robin, It also has the first-person cyberpunk slasher Ghostrunner, the RPG Pathfinder: Kingmaker Enhanced Plus Edition, and sci-fi-themed XCOM 2.

According to Humble Bundle, there are also more than 20 game titles from Turkish developers, publishers, and creators like TaleWorld Entertainment's Mount & Blade: Warband, Cultic Games' Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones, and more.

With the bundle, you'll also be getting 10 available volumes of "Saga," Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples' Eisner Award-winning comic series, as well as the Starfinder tabletop RPG digital core rulebook, Junker's Delight adventure from Paizo, and more.

Although you can get all the mentioned products for just $30, you can choose to pay more to provide even more support. The organizations that will receive the relief funding are working on the ground in both Turkey and Syria.

What Your Support Can Do

Knowing that your purchase will help those who have suffered the catastrophe is enough, but Humble Bundle broke down just how your contribution will be put to use. The digital store has broken down what the nonprofits will be doing with the given relief funding.

Direct Relief is responsible for deploying emergency medicine and supplies to healthcare facilities and search-and-rescue teams in all of Turkey and the northwest of Syria. It has already been able to distribute 128 tons of essential medicine and hygiene items.

The medicine that the organization was able to deliver helped people who were injured in the disaster as well as those who already have pre-existing medical conditions. Direct Relief disbursed $2.5 million worth of emergency grant funding for emergency response operations.

International Medical Corps has provided services that are critically needed, which applies to health, mental health, protection, non-food item distribution, water, sanitation, and hygiene services. These were all distributed to communities in both Turley and Syria.

The organization is also responsible for deploying two mobile medical teams for emergency and trauma care, as well as three mobile medical units. It also offers a 24-hour mental health hotline and psychological first-aid training for clinicians and first responders.

Save the Children is distributing tents, hygiene kits, clothing, heaters, blankets, and other essential items, as well as an Emergency Health Unit to provide life-saving healthcare. They are working closely with local partners in the affected areas.

Along with providing temporary shelters, blankets, winterization kits, and other essential supplies, they are also establishing Child-Friendly Spaces to provide children and adolescents a safe place to play, learn, and heal.
