5 Must-Play Games on Capcom Publisher Sale

Video game sales are becoming more common nowadays to make video games more available to people, even those living on a set budget to balance their wants and needs.

While Capcom's Publisher Sale will go on for quite some time, with it ending at different times per platform, it can be difficult to choose the games you want to purchase with so many options to consider.

Here are the games that are must-buys from Capcom to capitalize on this sale while it lasts:

Resident Evil 4 (2005)

The original Resident Evil 4 may look dated by now, but its gameplay and design are still the talks of the town even when its remake's release is fast approaching.

Though the remake offers dozens of new additions to the original 2005 game, Capcom will inevitably make some changes from the original 2005 game to improve gameplay for modern gamers. Grabbing a copy of the game and experiencing it for yourself will show you why many gamers asked Capcom to remake this beloved game/

Devil May Cry V

Devil May Cry V may be the fifth installment of Capcom's Devil May Cry series, but you won't need to play the first four games (thank your lucky stars) for you to understand the game's backstory, despite the occasional retcons.

The game is a must-have because it provides gamers with one of the most comprehensive hack n' slash fighting mechanics on the market, allowing you to string stylish attacks with a fair amount of effort. The game's battle themes are also connected to its style meter. Stringing various attacks together will raise your style rank, and the better the rank, the better the battle theme gets.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is a standalone version of the original Dragon's Dogma video game released in 2012. It includes the base game along with its expansion, Dark Arisen.

The game is set in a fantasy medieval world called Gransys, and you, the player, are one of the chosen destined to slay the dragon that terrorizes the land. During your quest, you will fight bandits, goblins, camouflaging lizards, and monsters many times your size.

Thanks to the game's unique gameplay, you can mix and match passive buffs to create the perfect character and even grab large enemies to outbalance them and even attack their weaknesses directly.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy

Capcom's popular Ace Attorney series may be a fictitious oversimplification of court proceedings, but it is one fun game, nevertheless.

The game not only has you solve various crimes, but it also has you defend the accused from being unjustly convicted of the crime you are trying to solve. The game may be difficult at times as it requires some critical and sometimes unorthodox thinking, but its story, cases, and characters' reactions to every argument and counter-argument make the critical thinking parts worth the effort.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

It has been some time since Capcom released a good Marvel vs. Capcom game since the latest entry in the series flopped considerably with critics and gamers alike.

Fortunately, the latest's predecessor, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, is still around and available to play. As the title suggests, the game pits various Marvel and Capcom characters from different series against each other, with each character having a story of their own on how and why they were present in the game.

If you want to see Ghost Rider going up against the likes of Nemesis or Dante and Vergil fighting Wolverine and SENTINEL, then this is the game for you.
