5 Tips for a More Organized and Neat PC Setup Space

Setting up a PC station can be stressful especially since there are a lot of devices and accessories that come with it. However, there are ways you can organize it and make it appear more neatly. Here are some tips on how to do just that.

Go Wireless

If you can, you should invest in wireless hardware so you won't have to struggle with wiring. We haven't gotten to the point of technology yet where everything can be powered wirelessly, but some accessories provide you with options to go wireless.

There are a lot of brands that offer wireless keyboards, mice, headphones, and speakers. That's already four cords less in your workspace. The downside is that you'll have to charge it every now and then. Still, if wires bother you, it'll be worth it.

The Right Mousepad

Mousepads also vary in size and kind. The standard mousepad people usually buy is one that only covers the actual mouse. However, you might want to get one with wider coverage when you have a plain-colored table so it would not look plain.

A bigger mousepad will not only hold your keyboard in place better but will also add some substance to your table. If you have a desk that already has a design, you can buy a plain mousepad to balance it out.

Buy a Monitor Mount

Sure, a monitor stand is fine, but it'll be harder to wipe down your desk with it. This can be important if you have a desk in a darker tone and dust particles are more visible. Not having a stand will also provide you with extra table space.

If you have two monitors, don't worry. There are monitor mounts that come with two brackets. Not only will it look better overall, but certain monitor mounts will also give you more options when it comes to adjusting your monitor's position.

Manage Your Cords

As said before, not all computer parts have the option to be wireless such as your monitor and the tower itself. But, you can manage your cords well so they wouldn't look like a tangled-up mess using cord management tools.

There are even organizing methods where you can hide your wires. There are many YouTube tutorials specifically for that. By fixing and compiling your cords, you won't have trouble with removing and reattaching them when you clean your station or your PC.

Storage Space

If you don't have a table yet, you might want to look for one that comes with drawers or cabinets. That way, you'll have a place to store all the things you don't need at the moment. If you already have a table, you can just purchase drawers you can place nearby.

You can also use it to store other things like cleaning tools for your computer or files that you might need for work. It can also serve as the closet that hides all the junk you don't need anymore but can't seem to throw away because you might "use it later."
