Verizon has announced that it will be the exclusive U.S. carrier for the BlackBerry Z30. The operator will release the 5-inch smartphone in November for $199.99.
BlackBerry is facing an uncertain future as it is in the process of trying to sell the company, yet it is still launching BB10 smartphones. The company announced its largest smartphone to date with the introduction of the BlackBerry Z30. The handset will be making its way to the U.S., as Verizon has confirmed it will be the exclusive carrier of the Z30.
The BlackBerry Z30 has been designed to bring the BB10 experience to the big screen. The 5-inch HD display is bright and crisp and a great size to watch movies, read books, surf the web and more. Gamers will appreciate the Z30's large screen, 2GB of RAM, powerful processor and Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU), which will allow the Z30 to run more intense games.

The BlackBerry Z30 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED 1280 x 720 display with a pixel density of 295 pixels per inch (ppi). The smartphone includes 16GB of internal storage and features a microSD expansion slot to allow users to add more memory. It runs BlackBerry 10.2 OS, is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with quad-core Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU), and packs in 2GB of RAM.
The Z30 also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with Auto-Focus, Back Side Illumination, 5 element F2.2 lens, Flash, continuous & touch to focus, image stabilization, Proprietary Enhanced Super, Resolution Digital Zoom (5x), 1080p HD video recording. It also uses a 2-megapixel front facing camera. In terms of wireless connectivity, it features a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, and NFC. The smartphone is powered by a large 2,880 mAh battery.
