Tucker Carlson will soon come back to form on Twitter.
The former FOX News prime-time host recently announced he is relaunching his show on Twitter following his abrupt dismissal from FOX in late April.
FOX didn't mention why it had to let go of Carlson, who last appeared on the air at Fox on Apr. 21, in its statement regarding his sacking.
Tucker Carlson Show Revival Details
Carlson mentioned in a video he posted on his official Twitter account that he'll be launching a new version of the show he'd been doing for the last six and half years on Twitter, which he described as "the last remaining platform in the world to allow free speech."
He said that Twitter had been where Americans' national conversation incubates and develops for a long time and that it is not a partisan site; that everybody is allowed to sign up for the platform. However, the news people see analyzed on it comes from media organizations thinly disguised as propaganda outlets.
"You can't have a free society if people aren't allowed to say what they think is true," Carlson said in his video.
Unfortunately, Carlson didn't offer much detail about the relaunching of his show on Twitter; he didn't say anything about when his show will go on air for the first time.
Carlson encouraged the video's viewers to visit his website, where they'll be greeted with a sign-up sheet to receive updates on the show's development and the opportunity to buy his themed merchandise, per Gizmodo.

These merchandises include golf balls, shirts, a $165 waxed canvas travel bag, a deck of playing cards with his face on it, and even socks.
Carlson's decision to relaunch his show on Twitter made ripples across the conservative media landscape. According to Bloomberg, shares of the conservative online video network Rumble dropped as much as 14% in post-market trading.
Axios also took notice of Carlson and Twitter CEO Elon Musk discussing working together, with Carlson probably using his show to "attack" FOX News and bully it into letting him work or start a rival entity. Carlson is still contractually obliged to serve as a FOX employee until 2025, per The Guardian.
Musk stated that he didn't sign any kind of deal with Carlson and that he is subject to the same rules and rewards all content creators on Twitter are obliged to follow and enjoy, respectively, per Reuters.
Carlson's Departure From Fox News
Carlson's announcement of the revival of his show on Twitter comes weeks after he left FOX News, with his last appearance for the network being on Apr. 21.
While FOX didn't specify why it agreed to part ways with Carlson, media outlets believe that their parting was part of the aftermath of the settlement of the Dominion Voting System lawsuit, which FOX accused of "stealing the 2020 elections," as well as a lawsuit accusing Carlson and Fox of sexism and harassment.
Another possible reason why FOX let Carlson go was his abusive comments about executives contributed to the decision, though sources close to Carlson disputed it.
