Netflix show "Bridgerton" has had two seasons so far, with the first focusing on Daphne Bridgerton's life and the second with Viscount Anthony Bridgerton. The show is staying true to its premise as it tells the story of another Bridgerton sibling along with another beloved character.
Colin and Penelope
We've seen Daphne with Simon and Anthony with Kate, now the third season will bring us the story of Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Bridgerton. We already know how Penelope feels about the third-born sibling, and season three will finally give us the "Polin" story.
In the last season, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) has had a tough year. Aside from her best friend, Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie), finding out about her being Lady Whistledown, she also overheard Colin telling his friends that he would never court her.
Coughlan had already revealed a teaser during Netflix's Tudum event in 2022 as she read the first page of season 3's script, stating "Dearest gentlereader, we have been apart for far too long. At last, London's smart set has made its return."
This season might finally be the year for Penelope's debut, and as we know, after telling Eloise that she was giving up her gossip sheet, she has actually published again, so we will not be hearing the last of Lady Whistledown just yet.
Netflix also revealed a series of photos not only of her and Colin in intimate proximity but of a new look that Penelope has adopted with her hair down. This shows that the clandestine writer is finally growing up to be a woman in the next season.
We will see character favorites return as well such as Anthony Bridgerton, Benedict Bridgerton, Lady Danbury, Lady Bridgerton, and Lady Featherington. There will also be new additions to the cast with actor Daniel Francis as Marcus Anderson, along with Sam Phillips as Lord Debling.
Of course, we will be seeing more of Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel), who has been painted in a more vivid light after the spinoff series, "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story," telling the audience how she came to be the adored queen.
We might see the third season sooner than we think given that the cast has already started filming in May 2022, which Nicola Coughlan revealed in the Tudum event back in 2022. Season two started filming in March 2021 and launched on March 2022.
More Teasers from Netflix
The streaming giant made it known that they were working on a live-action series based on the animated show, "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The last we heard about the show was about the casting, which most fans were happy about.
Just yesterday, Netflix posted photos of the cast wearing their character costumes. It showed Aang (Gordon Cormier), Zuko (Dallas James Liu), Sokka (Ian Ousley), and Katara (Kiawentiio Tarbell), who you may know as Ka'Kwet from "Anne with an E."
You might also recognize other actors such as June played by Arden Cho, as mentioned in One E-Sports, who took on the role of Kira Yukimura on "Teen Wolf." Another character, The Mechanic, is played by Danny Pudi, who you would recognize as Abed Nadir from the sitcom "Community."
