5 Tech Toys Your Dog Would Enjoy

Dogs have so much energy all the time and it can sometimes be hard to keep up. In order to keep your furry friends entertained, you can provide them with toys. But, you can do better by buying tech toys that will be convenient for you and your pet.

1. Automatic Ball Launcher

While cats love chasing around lasers, dogs are more fond of playing catch with their owners. If you're too busy, you might not be able to provide your dog with time to play, and that's where an automatic ball launcher comes in.

The toy is suited for medium to large-size dogs. You can adjust the distance in which the ball will be launched between ten to 40 feet through the button. You'll have to train your dog to return it to the hole on top so they can continuously play catch until the battery runs out.

2. Smart Bone

Dogs are basically hardwired to chew on things, which is why chew toys are an important part of a pet dog's day. To make their favorite pass time more entertaining, you can buy the Wickedbone Smart Bone which can be more entertaining than a non-interactive chew toy.

As suggested by Daily Paws, the toy has two modes which are "drive mode" and "autoplay mode." The former lets you control the bone through an app so your dog can chase after it, and the latter lets the toy operate on its own, responding to your dog's actions.

3. Puzzle Hub

Other than their physical well-being, you also have to make sure that you also make things engaging for their minds. Through the CleverPet Hub, your dog will have to deal with puzzles in order to get a reward after solving them.

There are touchpads that your dog can interact with, which also light up to help your dog identify which pads will yield rewards. You can also use it to monitor your pet through the CleverPet app, which is available on both iPhones and Android phones.

4. Interactive Ball

Traditional balls are enough to keep a dog happy, but they would like it more if the ball actually moves around and interacts with them. The Cheerble has three modes you can choose from such as passive, normal, and gentle mode.

It is capable of moving on its own as well as shaking and bouncing. The toy has sensors so it knows to roll away when it comes in contact with an obstacle like walls. It also has LED lights that indicate its modes and catch your dog's attention.

5. Treat-Dispensing Toy

Just like the CleverPet Hub, the toy is designed to make your pet engage with a toy to get treats. As mentioned in Family Handyman, the Tikr toy can be filled with treats in different sizes. It has a big enough hole to fit a variety of them.

Every 45 minutes, the inner chamber will rotate so the treats being held will be aligned with the hole and they will fall out. The mechanism is powered by an analog timer, so you won't have to manually rotate the chambers so your dog can get their treats.
