Microsoft Preps for Window Updates, Hints Possible Windows 12 Release

During the Microsoft Build 2023 developer conference, rumors about Windows 12 have begun circulating.

According to softonic, during the conference, Microsoft brought the idea of the "next generation" of Windows which was referred to as "Next Valley Prototype Design."

Microsoft has not confirmed or denied any plans for Windows but the company is now leaning to integrate AI-powered features.

"As we start to develop future versions of Windows we'll think about other places where AI should play a natural role in terms of the experience," said Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's head of consumer marketing during an interview with The Verge.
