Nintendo officially announced the release date for Pikmin 4 along with the game's overview trailer.
Pikmin 4 will be available to play on Nintendo Switch starting July 21. However, players can start pre-ordering the game on the Nintendo website with a price of $59.99 both for digital and physical copy.
A game demo is also now available for download. According to GameSpot, any progress made in the digital demo is transferable to the full purchased game.
Meanwhile, completing the demo in-store will earn the players 200 My Nintendo Platinum Points.

Pikmin 4 Overview
The trailer for Pikmin 4 revealed new types of Pikmin that will aide the players in battles.
Ice Pikmin can freeze enemies while the Glow Pikmin will serve as a light for new nighttime battles.
Additional help such as Oatchi, a space dog, who does not only help in carrying the Pikmin battalion but can supply bite and bash attacks as well.
Pikmin Through the Years
Pikmin is a puzzle and strategy game series that was launched by Nintendo in 2001.
Aside from Nintendo, the game series was also made available on Wii.
Additionally, a mobile version called Pikmin Bloom was released in iOS and Android last 2021.
