Xbox launched its new safety feature which allows players to capture and report any inappropriate voice activity within Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One multiplayer games with in-game voice chat.
Microsoft announced that the new feature will be released to Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead Xbox Insiders, starting this week.
"Our investments in safety have helped players feel safer across text, video, and image - and our new voice reporting experience is the latest addition to our robust suite of family and online safety features," Xbox wrote on its website.
Xbox Voice Reporting for Safer Gaming
Players can capture a 60-second video clip of an in-game voice incident that is believed that violated Xbox's community standards. Afterwards, players can submit the evidence to the Xbox Safety Team for reviewing.
The saved clip will only be in the console for 24 online hours, while Xbox assured that they will prompt a reminder to report if the clip was not submitted within the timeframe.
"Empowering players with easy-to-use tools helps foster togetherness, while improving the greater health of the gaming community on Xbox," Family Online Safety Institute CEO, Stephen Balkam stated.
Interactivity is one of the main fuels during a game and Xbox stepped up to protect their gamers from toxic gaming environment.
