Motorola offering $350 Moto X on any carrier for Cyber Monday sale

To celebrate Cyber Monday, Motorola has announced it will be selling the Moto X on any carrier for $350 no-contract pricing.

Motorola is going to take advantage of Cyber Monday by offering its flagship smartphone at a fraction of what it normally sells for.

Motorola took to its Google+ page a few days ago to announce that it will offer a $150 discount on any off-contract Moto X, and the big day is finally here. This deal also includes the Moto Maker customization process, which allows you to customize different aspects of the smartphone. You'll design your Moto X using the Moto Maker site, which allows you to choose the color of the front, back, and accents. You can also include your name or a personal message using the engraving option. The Moto X will be available on Dec. 2 with the 16GB model priced at $349 and the 32GB one at $399, and will support AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile's networks.

The Moto X has a few standout features such as its ability to always be aware of its surroundings through special sensors Motorola has placed inside the device. The smartphone is always listening for a command even while its asleep - simply say the phrase ":Ok, Google" followed by a task, the Moto X automatically wakes itself and does what is asked. The Moto X will only recognize your voice and wake, so you don't have to worry about it getting requests from friends or strangers. Its camera can even be activated simply by twisting your wrist twice, as the smartphone will automatically launch the camera when its sensors detect the gesture.

The Moto X uses a bright 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 720p HD AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with Motorola's X8 Computing and an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU). It ships with Android 4.2 but is upgradable out of the box to the latest Android 4.4 KitKat via an OTA update. It has 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It comes with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

Its camera capabilities include a 10-megapixel CLEAR PIXEL rear shooter with autofocus, LED flash, and the ability to record 1080p HD video. It also has a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video chat,. The smartphone's wireless connectivity options include 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with LE and EDR. Motorola ships the Moto X with a 2,200 mAh non-removable battery.

You'll be able to purchase the Moto X from Motorola's site on Dec. 2 beginning at $349 for any carrier with no contract.
