Sony has reportedly started rolling out invites for the public beta test of PlayStation 5 (PS5) cloud gaming.
Although this might not be a surprise for some as Sony already bared its plans for cloud streaming last June. What comes as a surprise is that the cloud can stream PS5 games at up to 4K resolution.

PS5 Public Beta and PS5 Cloud Streaming
A PS Plus Premium member shared his invite on X, asking if someone else had received the same invite.
"Just got an email inviting me to download the latest beta system software but also to try the ability to stream PS5 games," user rdmetz stated on his post.
Attached on the post was indeed an invite from Sony. Apparently, only selected premium members have received the invite to try out this new feature. An exclusive voucher code was given to each participant, which will grand them the access to the beta and streaming preview.
4K Streaming in PS5
As of writing, no public announcement or confirmation was given by Sony. Meanwhile, a screenshot was shared in a gaming forum, ResetEra, which gave some gamers a glimpse of what Sony is working on.
Based on ArashiGames' screenshot, users can choose between 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p (4K) resolutions. In addition, the games will automatically load on the cloud saves.
The following games are reported to be available for streaming: God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Fortnite, Fall Guys, Destiny 2, Returnal, Demon's Souls, Death Stranding, Sackboy A Big Adventure, Destruction All Stars, and Fall Guys. Meanwhile, Resident Evil Village, and Demon Slayer are under trial for now.
