There are a lot of armor sets that you can obtain in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Although some of them come in the form of diagrams that you can take to armorers, others are ready to be equipped. One of the best-looking armor sets you can find is the Tesham Mutna set from the Blood and Wine DLC.
Where Is It Located?
Unlike other armor sets that you have to hunt down, you can find all the wearable gear in one convenient location. All of them are in the Tesham Mutna ruins, which is located just southeast of the populated area in Toussaint.
You can go there early if you want, but there's no need since you'll be going there anyway during a quest with the higher vampire Regis in "La Cage a Fou." Besides, you won't be able to access the underground area until Regis opens it for you.
During the mentioned quest, you'll have to get through a couple of things first. For one, you'll have to go to Regis' place in the cemetery. Your first time there, the door will be locked and you'll have to kill a few kikimores before you get through.
After a few cutscenes between Geralt and the higher vampire, you will be tasked to acquire an important ingredient for the Resonance potion, which will lead you to a house full of spoons and a wight. You can choose to lift the curse of the wight or kill it.
In order to lift the curse, you'll have to examine enough spoons in the house, and there are a lot lying around. After hiding in the closet to wait for the wight, you'll be presented with the choice. After finishing that part of the quest, you can go back to Regis' lair and head to the Tesham Mutna Ruins.
Where Can I Find the Armor Pieces?
Overall, you'll find six pieces of gear underground the Tesham Mutna ruins once your enter. The first one you'll find is fairly easy to spot. It's the chest near the opened cages just in front of the stairs. It will hold three pieces of the set, which are the steel sword, the chest armor, and the trousers.
Going further down, you'll find other chests and containers before you get to the second chest that holds the boots and mask. There are a couple of good resources there so try to get them all. You can find the right chest when you see a faded red door beside it.
The third place where you can get the last piece of armor, which is the gauntlets, is all the way down near the jail cells with all the carved-out signs. You won't find it in the skeletons inside the cells. Instead, it will be in a small chest beside the skeleton in a cubby-like resting place.
Perks and Requirements
You'll have to be at level 39 before you can wear the armor and use the steel sword, although you can wear the mask at any level since it's just a decorative piece. The steel sword has 320-292 damage and has several added perks like armor piercing, a chance to cause bleeding, and more.
The chest armor rating is 230, the boots and trousers are both 87, and the boots are 84, all of which come with added resistance to various damages. If you're wearing three pieces of the set or more, you'll be able to restore vitality or HP every time you defeat an enemy.
