'Barbie' Is Going Digital This September

It's a Barbie's world indeed as the "Barbie" movie is set to arrive in digital on September 5 on Amazon.

'Barbie' Hits $1 Billion

Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" has officially dethroned Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" as the highest-grossing domestic movie in the 100-year history of Warner Bros. Discovery. "Barbie" has reportedly hit $1.2 billion in box office as compared to "The Dark Knight" with $1.006 billion in box office.

The Warner Bros. Discovery has been hitting it right with back-to-back success of its film releases. Aside from "Barbie", the company also released "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" this year, which also gained $1.3 million in box office.

Margot Robbie who played Barbie and is also a producer of the movie is reported to get roughly $50 million in salary and box office bonuses. Director and co-writer Greta Gerwig will also receive a hefty sum of salary and bonuses following the movie's continuous success.
