Google formally launched its new collaboration and productivity tool called Duet AI assistant which will be available across the Workspace apps.

Google Duet AI for Workspace
Google Workspace have proven itself as a staple productivity tool kit both for individuals and organizations. The Duet AI was introduced as a "real-time collaborator" by Google which is intended to be used on Gmail, Docs, Drive, and more.
"Since its launch, thousands of companies and more than a million trusted testers have used Duet AI as a powerful collaboration partner that can act as a coach, source of inspiration, and productivity booster," GM and VP for Google Workspace, Aparna Pappu explained.
Earlier this year, Google introduced Duet AI at the I/O developer conference. Pappu demonstrated how the new AI tool will function on Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Slides. Duet AI can also be used as a creative tool by allowing its users to generate images or make charts in an instant with just a simple prompt.
What makes Duet AI stands out is its utilization in Google Meet. While using the app, Duet AI will adjust into a studio look, studio lighting, and studio sound to ensure better presentation on camera. Moreover, dynamic tiles and face detection features will be added to give attendees more highlight. Lastly, an automated translated captions will support 18 languages will display translations in real time during meetings.
Google Duet AI Availability and Price
All good things must come with a good price. Hence, Google will be charging enterprises $30 per month for each person in order to use Duet AI. The fee will be an additional cost to the current business subscription that is availed by the company. Google already started taking pre-orders last June.
Fortunately, Google opened a free trial request for companies that are intrigued and interested to purchase the Duet AI. As of writing, Google has yet to announce the AI tool's price for smaller organizations and individual subscribers.
