While Apple's iPhone 15 Pro models sound impressive, its standard models, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, are no slouch themselves.

As per tradition, the standard iPhone 15 models come with hardware similar to the last generation's Pro models - in this case, the iPhone 14 Pro. The standard models come equipped with an A16 Bionic chip, a 6-core CPU (2 performance + 4 efficiency), a 5-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine - a similar loadout to the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Their OLED displays, meanwhile, are HDR capable and come with True Tone, wide color (P3), and up to 2,000 nits of brightness depending on where their users are.

Interestingly, Apple doesn't offer a 64GB storage capacity option for the standard iPhone 15 models, much like its Pro models. As such, the standard iPhone 15 models come in three storage capacity options: 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB.

Although the standard iPhone 15 models have a similar processor, CPU, and GPU to the iPhone 14 Pro models, the standard iPhone 15 models come with better cameras when compared to the iPhone 14 Pro models. The standard iPhone 15 models have an advanced dual-camera system consisting of a 48MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP 2x Telephoto camera.

They also have a 12MP front camera with Autofocus with Focus Pixels, ƒ/1.9 aperture, and retina flash. Both cameras have Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 5, Next-generation portraits with Focus and Depth Control, Night mode, and other Apple camera staples.

The iPhone 15 standard models also have a longer battery life - they can have up to 20 hours of video playback. Their batteries, capable of fast charging, are also compatible with MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W and Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W.

Furthermore, the standard iPhone 15 models come with a USB-C port and a 1-meter USB-C charge cable, though it is unknown if the data transfer speeds are as fast as Apple's proprietary Lightning cable or not. The standard iPhone 15 Models come with Apple's new iOS 17 software, which brings new features to the tech giant's iPhones.

Lastly, the standard iPhone 15 models come with the new Dynamic Island feature and Haptic Touch buttons, and are rated IP68 - they can be submerged up to 6 meters for up to 30 minutes.
