Disney, Charter Enter Agreement for New Cable Bundle

Disney and Charter's Spectrum Cable settled an agreement for a new cable bundle that will better cater to its customers.

Disney and Charter Agreement

Both Disney and Charter have an established reputation as an entertainment service provider with millions of subscribers. The two media giants have finally entered an agreement that will benefits both the companies and its audience.

Customers can now get Disney Plus Basic, which is the ad-supported plan, if they subscribe to Spectrum's TV Select package. Meanwhile, the Spectrum TV Select Plus package is bundled with the ESPN Plus.

What makes the bundle good is that Charter will soon allow bundling multiple services in one bill. In a 2022 study, it was revealed that 42 percent of the American are paying for subscriptions that they have forgotten about. This will a good contribution once Charter implements its new style of billing.

Disney Channels Went Dark on Charter

Earlier this month, Disney blocked out most of its channels to the Spectrum cable. This includes ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, and more. The financial dispute resulted to back and fort of negotiation and competition.

The Verge reported that the move can either break or save the cable TV situation. Currently, cable service providers are seeing a decline due to the aggressive competition among streaming services.

For now, customers will now be able to enjoy services from entertainment giants through new plans and bundles.
