LG will be showcasing its latest A/V lineup, including the award-winning wireless audio system, the NP8740, at 2014 International CES in Las Vegas.
NP8740, which won the 2014 CES Innovation Award, is a wireless multi-room audio system that uses the dual band WiFi support (2.4/5Ghz) to deliver high quality streaming audio throughout the home.
"Several speakers can be set up in any combination of rooms, connecting an entire house under a single system. The embedded mesh network technology also makes it possible to choose between playing the same song throughout the home (Party Mode), or different songs through each speaker (Personal Mode)," LG said in a statement.
NP8740 can also connect to other audio systems for an integrated experience while a downloadable app transforms the smartphone into a master control unit. Per LG, the new system can access digital music collection without a home network and lets users stream audio from multiple online sources.
The audio system, LG said, not only produces rich sound with clarity and depth but also "overall clarity is enhanced by a dual-tweeter arrangement" while 24 bit/192kHz offers studio-like sound quality."
Besides the NP8740, LG will also be showcasing the new LAB540W SoundPlate and the NB5540 Sound Bar, which is the recepient of a Red Dot Design award.
You can check out these audio systems and more at LG booth #8204 at Central Hall in Las Vegas Convention Center at 2014 International CES, which runs from Jan. 7 through Jan. 10.
