Square Enix revealed an exciting surprise for Final Fantasy VII fans as the Ever Crisis is coming to PC in the near future.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis on Mobile
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis originally debuted as a game that fans can enjoy through their smartphones and tablets. The game was developed by Square Enix together with Applibot as a part of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.
Ever Crisis comes in a from of a gacha game that gives the players an opportunity to explore the Final Fantasy VII and the Compilation timelines. This includes Final Fantasy game titles such as Before Crisis, Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus.
The battle system is inspired by the original game's Active Time Battle system. While the game is available for free on the app stores, players can buy loot boxes that might earn them random weapons and costumes that they can use to elevate their gameplay.
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis on PC
According to Square Enix, the PC version of the game will be release on Steam. The company is yet to disclose its launch date. On the other hand, the PC version will allows players to cross save their data between the existing mobile version of Ever Crisis to the upcoming PC version of it.
While the release might be far from now, fans are hoping that the release of Ever Crisis on PC will further expand the Final Fantasy reach among platforms. For now, fans will have to make do with the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth release next year which promised a 100-hour fresh content.
