Netflix Unveils Trailer for 'Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2'
In a trailer released by Netflix, the streaming giant confirmed that the second season of the animated series has started its production. While the trailer is quite different from a typical trailer, it was able to provide a glimpse of the current development of the team.
According to the show director Samuel Deats, the sketches that were shown in the trailer are the actual storyboards, layouts, and animations for the second season. What makes the trailer intriguing is that there seemed to be some spoilers for the final episode of the first season.
In an X post, Deats showed his gratefulness towards the fans. Moreover, while the trailer did not include a release date yet, Deats assured that the release of the second season "won't be quite so long this time."
Everything That Went Down on 'Castlevania: Nocturne' Season One
The first season of "Castlevania: Nocturne" featured eight episodes and followed the story of Richter Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont vampire-hunting clan. Aside from that, the story also showed Maria Renard, Belmont's adoptive sister, as the duo attempted to make allies and prevent an apocalyptic rise.
On the other hand, the four-season series "Castlevania" focused on the story of Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, and Alucard as the trio fought the demons that were summoned by Vlad Dracula. Trevor is a descendant of Richter.
Both series were met with positive reviews and with that fans are relieved to know that "Nocturne" will be getting a continuation soon.
