ChatGPT with DALL-E 3
Last month, OpenAI introduced DALL-E 3 and discussed how the company has improved its performance. The new model was initially added to Microsoft's Bing Chat and Bing Image Generator before GPT customers were given access.
According to OpenAI, DALL-E 3 generates crisper details and more visually striking images as compared to the previous models. The new version was specifically enhanced to respond to extensive and detailed prompts from the users.
"These capabilities were achieved by training a state-of-the-art image captioner to generate better textual descriptions for the images that we trained our models on," OpenAI wrote.
Responsible Usage of DALL-E 3
The developers of DALL-E 3 implemented creative controls ensuring that the model will decline requests that bear similarity in the style of living artist. Moreover, they also offered an option for creators to take out their creations from being included in the training data of the future generation models.
OpenAI also created a multi-tiered safety system that will limit DALL-E 3's ability to generate harmful imagery that features violence, hateful, or adult content. Safety checks are also done when running over prompts before the results are given to the users. "Listening to a diverse and broad community of users and having real-world understanding is critical to developing and deploying AI responsibly and is core to our mission," OpenAI added.
The subscription plan for ChatGPT Plus costs $20 per month and comes with faster and more priority access to new features. Meanwhile, the Enterprise plan's price varies per organization but guarantees all the premium features that ChatGPT has to offer.
