Apple confirmed another event just in time for Halloween called "Scary Fast" on October 30.
Apple's Definition of Scary Fast
For weeks, there have been reports on the upcoming reveal of iMac, iPads, and even the MacBook. Last September, the big iPhone 15 event launched the newest and fastest iPhone up to date along with the upgraded Apple Watch. Now the only thing that remains are the company's line of desktop and laptops.
Bloomberg correspondent Mark Gurman suggested that the event will launch the long-overdue refresh of the iMac line. In addition, Apple enthusiasts might also see an update to the MacBook Pro line.
The invitation for the "Scary Fast" event featured a logo that morphs into the icon of Mac's Finder, making it a sure indicator that new Mac computers will be the main star of the event. Likewise, there are also rumors of the M3 chip devices, which are reported to be under production.
Apple's Refresher Event
Apple usually reserves October as a press event for its computers and iPads. However, previous reports showed that the company has no plans to refresh the tablet line until next Spring. Regardless, the company has been working on updating the iPad mini, Air, and other entry-level models. A revamped iPad Pro with OLED technology is also on its way.
Last January, Apple hosted a virtual event to launch minor new products such as the current MacBook Pro and Mac mini. However, that event's scale seemed smaller compared to the upcoming "Scary Fast" event next week.
Aside from the anticipation of refreshed products, fans are also looking forward as to how Apple will play the event according to Halloween. As the title and the timing suggest, it fits perfectly with the holiday. Fans were even debating if everyone at the launch would show up in a costume.
